Unlike many other 5 Star wedding venues , the difference at Rathsallagh is that it belongs solely to you and your guests for your big day – this exclusivity allows Rathsallagh flexibility to tailor all arrangements to suit your every need.
With its 18th century walled gardens and Orangery Rathsallagh is ideal for our door ( weather permitting ) and in door civil ceremonies and blessings, in our Walled Gardens ( out door 200+ ) , Granary ( indoor 200+ ) or the more intimate orangery ( in door up to 130 ). In addition there are a number of traditional and quaint country Churches on our door step and the team at Rathsallagh have all the information needed to make contact with and help you arrange the ceremony of your choice.
Legendary Wedding Food and Unmatched Entertainment
Rathsallagh’s reputation for having the best wedding food in Ireland is legendary. There is no charge for exclusive use or room hire, and the bride and groom get to stay with our compliments. We also have a superb entertainment offer with our House Band and DJ. In that regard it should be noted that there are no noise restrictions or curfews at Rathsallagh. Unlike some venues bands can use their own sound systems, ie their sound levels are not controlled by the House. Main bar closing time is one of the latest for any wedding venue in Ireland at 3am.
Nearly 40 Years of Wedding Experience
We have been hosting wedding parties for almost 40 years now and our experience in that regard is hard to surpass. At Rathsallagh House we can comfortably seat from 50 up to 220 guests . Smaller Weddings are a speciality at Rathsallagh as it is set up to provide a soft romantic setting with lots of candles and garden flower arrangements provided at no extra charge. Because you have exclusive use of the estate on your big day. Rathsallagh has 40 bedrooms ( including The Lodges ) and a Championship Golf Course on site offering so much more for that day two event.

On Site Civil Ceremonies & Blessings
We have years of experience in relation to on site blessings and other types of wedding ceremonies.
Since the law changed in relation to Civil Ceremonies out side of a Registry Office in Ireland Rathsallagh has hosted over 450 on site civil cermonies. To avoid using the same room as that for the reception we can offer a number of options both indoor and out from our Orangery ( indoor 100 guests ) and Walled Gardens ( outdoor 200 + ) to the Grannary ( indoor 200+) , and now our Walled Garden Stretch Tendt ( 200+ ) . Wedding Dates & Music
At Rathsallagh we can cater for up to 240 guests, however depending on the dates involved we can sometimes quote for lower numbers. Weddings can be held in the main dining room or the Wedding Pavilion see our Facebook wedding albums for some ideas on how these rooms can be set up etc.
We do have minimum room requirements depending on the date you choose. If you are worried at all about the number of bedrooms you are required to take have a look at this link and read through the email chain.

To confirm any appointment we will need mobile numbers and postal addresses for both yourself and your partner.
Normally we have appointments availabel as follows : Monday to Wednesday 10 am to 5.00 pm. , Thursday and Friday 10 am to 12 noon. Saturday appointments are at 10.00 am and 11.30 am only and are normally booked up weeks in advance, however do contact us to check for our next Saturday availability.
