Directions for coaches and camper vans

Coaches and camper vans should not use the front drive. Use postcode W91 T9X5 for the delivery/back entrance approach.

  • Take M50 southbound and continue via N7 south.
  • Exit N7 at junction 11 for M9 southbound.
  • Exit M9 at junction 3 and take R747 (Baltinglass).
  • At next T-junction, turn left onto R448 for Crookstown.
  • Pass Crookstown service station, then take the next right for Dunlavin.
  • After around 3km, continue past the old railway bridge approach and proceed to the next crossroads (Five Cross Roads).
  • Take the second left up the narrow hill road to the rear entrance.

On arrival, continue down the back avenue, over the hump bridge and into the yard. A wide turning arc is recommended for larger vehicles.

Camper van parking is signposted near the yard area. Charges apply and include power access and breakfast; confirm current rates with reception.

Getting to Rathsallagh House

Nestled in the Wicklow countryside near Dunlavin, Rathsallagh House and Golf Club is conveniently accessible from Dublin, the south and the south east. Located within easy reach of the M7 and M9 motorways, the estate is clearly signposted from surrounding towns including Kilcullen and Crookstown, ensuring a straightforward journey by car. The guidance provided outlines the most practical routes for visitors travelling from key regional points, along with important notes regarding toll roads and access for larger vehicles.

  • Take M50 south and join M7 south (Cork direction).
  • Take junction 11 to M9 southbound (Waterford/Carlow/Kilkenny).
  • Exit junction 3 for R747 Baltinglass.
  • At next T-junction, turn left onto R448 for Crookstown.
  • After Crookstown service station, turn right for Dunlavin and follow signs to Rathsallagh.

Note: Car-only route. For coaches, deliveries and large vans use the dedicated large-vehicle route above.

  • Take N8/M7 toward Dublin.
  • Leave M7 at junction 12 and take 4th exit to R413.
  • Continue via Kilcullen and follow signs for Dunlavin (R412).
  • At Dunlavin, turn right at T-junction and continue about 4km; Rathsallagh is on the left.

  • Travel northbound on M9 and exit at junction 3 (R747 Baltinglass).
  • At next T-junction turn left onto R448 for Crookstown.
  • Pass service station and turn right for Dunlavin.
  • Follow signs around 5km to Rathsallagh House and Golf Club.

  • Take N78 northbound and cross junction 3 onto R747.
  • At next T-junction (approx. 1.5km) turn left onto R448 for Crookstown.
  • After service station, turn right for Dunlavin and follow signs for approx. 5km.

  • Take R407 via Sallins to Naas and follow signs for M7/M9 Dublin.
  • Join M7, then take junction 11 for M9 southbound.
  • Exit M9 at junction 3, turn left for R747 Baltinglass.
  • At next T-junction turn left onto R448 for Crookstown.
  • After about 1km past service station, turn right for Dunlavin and follow signs.
