Rathsallagh House Sustainability & Eco Credentials

Rathsallagh House is deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship, implementing a wide range of green initiatives across the estate. The entire property is powered by 100% green electricity from Pinergy, ( Green Energy Certificate )   and further supports its energy needs through its own 150kVA solar power plant.   Installed by Activ8 Energy .  Wastewater is managed on-site using a natural reed bed treatment system, installed by Bluestream Environmental, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Throughout the house and grounds, energy-efficient LED lighting is used to reduce consumption, and all waste is comprehensively recycled in partnership with Bord na Móna Recycling.  Even the lawns are maintained sustainably using electric-powered robotic mowers from Kress, eliminating the need for petrol-driven equipment.   In addittion Rathsallagh offers free EV charging to its guests.   These efforts reflect Rathsallagh’s ongoing dedication to preserving the natural beauty of its surroundings while delivering award-winning hospitality.
