Couples can choose between a number of different outdoor settings, such as the Walled Gardens and the Orchard or under the shade of our custom-designed Stretch Tent. We also have a number of indoor ceremony options from the Orangery to the Granary.

Having dedicated civil ceremony areas at Rathsallagh House offers a unique advantage: your ceremony space remains untouched and perfectly arranged for your vows, while your celebration can continue elsewhere without disruption. This means there’s no need to move furniture, reset tables, or compromise on the atmosphere—your ceremony retains its intimate, elegant feel, and your dining or reception area can be styled separately for a seamless transition. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the staff. From the minute we drove up the long driveway on our first visit to the minute we left, this place was magical. The venue itself is so beautiful (we got married in October and the colours were divine), but the staff make it. They’re so attentive, no ask is too big. We’re definitely going back for our 1 year anniversary just to see the staff again! Joe, Megan, Andrea, Abigail, Jack.. every single person was attentive, calming and so friendly, everyone at the wedding commented on how lovely they were, how gorgeous the food was and how magical the whole day was! We recently had our wedding and a Day 2 BBQ at Rathsallagh House and it was the most incredible two days. Myself, my husband and our guests cannot rate Rathsallagh and their staff high enough, our guests even commented they felt like royalty! Every felt important, welcomed and that each and everyone there wanted us to have the best day. It was so personal, the bridal party and our families names were known which made it feel extra special. The team really know what makes a good wedding and delivered on that! The food was amazing, the wedding meal, breakfast and the BBQ, wow!! We truly feel so lucky to have chosen Rathsallagh as our wedding venue. Its a weekend we will never forget and are so excited to go back twice next year for 2 of our friends weddings.

Unlike many other 5 Star wedding venues, the difference at Rathsallagh is that it belongs solely to you and your guests for your big day – this exclusivity allows Rathsallagh flexibility to tailor all arrangements to suit your every need.  With its 18th century walled gardens and Orangery, Rathsallagh is ideal for our door ( weather permitting ) and indoor civil ceremonies and blessings, in our Walled Gardens (outdoor 200+), Granary ( indoor 200+ ) or the more intimate Orangery (indoor up to 130).   In addition, there are a number of traditional and quaint country Churches on our doorstep, and the team at Rathsallagh has all the information needed to make contact with and help you arrange the ceremony of your choice.

Rathsallagh has been in the ownership of the O’Flynn family and in operation as a Country House taking guests for the last 40 years.  Many of the team at Rathsallagh have been working for the family since Rathsallagh began, so their experience underpins Rathsallagh’s  unrivaledreputation for service,  hospitality, and exquisite food in a private and romantic setting

If you are thinking of making a couple of days of it for your big event, Rathsallagh is ideally placed as it has an 18-hole Championship Golf Course on site.   It also has a   Jacuzzi room, billiard room and tennis court.  Clay Pigeon shooting, Falconry, Fishing, and Archery can be organised by prior arrangement.
