Let Rathsallagh host your big day!. Located in Ireland just south of Dublin ( 55 mins Dublin Airport) on the Kildare Wicklow border Rathsallagh is closed exclusively to you for your Wedding Day. Enjoy the fantastic scenery, the wonderful facilities and the great location Rathsallagh has to offer you and your wedding party with 570 acres of Parkland and Walled Gardens. Rathsallagh prides itself on wonderful cuisine sourced locally, many of the Herbs and Vegetables used are grown in our own Gardens. Rathsallagh can also cater for all types of civil ceremonies and blessings.
Rathsallagh has won many awards for its restaurant and the main focus at here is on the food and service: a magnificent 5-Course Dinner cooked to order, with fish and vegetarian options provided, all allergies taken into account The bed rooms at Rathsallagh are luxurious charming, comfortable, and individual. We have being hosting wedding parties for over 20 years now and our experience in that regard is hard to surpass. At Rathsallagh House we can comfortably seat from 50 up to 200 guests while we can cater for up to 175 in our Golf Club House from October to May. Smaller Weddings are a specialty at Rathsallagh as it is set up to provide a soft romantic setting with lots of candles and garden flower arrangements provided at no extra charge. Because you have exclusive use of the estate on your big day , Rathsallagh is considered to be one of Irelands more unusual and exclusive wedding venues. Children Attending your Wedding?On your wedding day the House is exclusively yours and you can of course invite children as young as you wish. In fact on the big day it is the bride and groom who set our child policy. If you wish we can provide child minders during the day, a separate dining area with supervision, and of course baby sitters in the evening. . Our wedding coordinators can give you more information in relation to children attending weddings at Rathsallagh. On Site Civil Ceremonies & Blessings?We have facilities on site for civil ceremonies and blessings. To avoid using the same room as that for the reception we can offer a number of options from our Orangey and Walled Gardens to other intimate settings. Although the law has only recently changed in relation to Civil Ceremonies out side of a Registry Office, at Rathsallagh we have years of experience in relation to on site blessings and other types of wedding ceremonies. As Wedding venues must have an individual inspection for each and every on site civil marriage ceremony, the Health Service Executive prohibits establishments from advertising the fact they have been generally approved to hold such ceremonies. However Rathsallagh House can advise that they have experienced inspections for the purposes of being approved for the holding of a Civil Marriage Ceremony and have hosted a large number of such cermonies on site. Numbers and DatesAt Rathsallagh we can cater for up to 250 guests, however depending on the dates involved we can sometimes quote for lower numbers. Weddings can be hedl inteh main dinign room or the Weddign Pavillion see our Face Book wedding albums for some ideas on how these rooms can be set up etc. We do have minimum room requirements depending on the date you choose. If you are worried at all about the number of bedrooms you are required to take have a look at this link and read through the email chain. Site InspectionsWe would be delighted to show you around Rathsallagh because it is a very special place. However Rathsallagh is frequently taken on an exclusive use basis where we are closed to non residents ( with the exception of evening dinner reservations ) , particularly on Saturday’s and Sundays and as a result site inspections of Rathsallagh need to be by appointment. . Sometimes it can be a good idea to combine a site inspection with Sunday Lunch here, but again you do need to make a prior reservation for this.
